Another Monster Rescued

Another monster appeared in our backyard. This time, it was a tinier monster than the last one. The last one was of course now known as Alaska. This one did not come with a name and so Daddy just called her 'Mimi'. He said that the first thing he heard from this monster was a tiny meow that sounded like "mi mi".

Mommy was the first who spotted this little monster and she thought that it was just visiting our backyard. After one hour, the little critter was still there and meowing as though looking for her own mommy. Daddy was taking a nap and when he got up, Mom told him about the monster. He opened the back door and caught the frightened animal. For a little creature, Mimi was struggling with all her might. Her little heart was about to jump out of her frail chest.

Mommy opened a can of cat food and scooped some out to serve the monster. Oh, what a monster she was! The way she ate... it was like she had not eaten for ages. Poor little monster! She must be so so hungry. I knew that experience when I was a puppy. However, in the House of Kangs, nobody goes hungry here. Everybody is well-fed and has round belly.

Daddy killed some ticks from the body of this kitten. Then he told Mommy about the critter's eyes, "They are tearing badly".

Our parents then decided that they had to bring this monster to see Dr. Pam who is our Aunt and personal Vet. We like Dr. Pam a lot because she is always so kind to us all. She is also a very good doctor and will definitely be able to help Mimi.

Well, back to the cute little monster, the last time we saw her was when Mommy and Daddy drove her in our family car to visit Dr. Pam.

After a couple of hours, Daddy and Mommy returned. They carried a box and we thought it was holding the monster. Goodness and I were jumping up and down in excitement. When Mommy opened the box, it was not the monster but a pressure cooker. Mine, oh, mine, I got all excited for nothing.

Daddy told me (since I am the eldest and smartest) that according to Dr. Pam, Mimi's eyes were infected and needed treatment. The good doctor had kept the monster for further observation and maybe somebody will adopt this furry monster. If that were to happen, then we will never see Mimi again.

That is all for now. See you folks in my next blog. Take care and woof woof.

Danny Is Still Looking For A Home

Monday, August 23, 2010 Posted by revalbertkang

It has been almost two months now and we are still looking for a loving owner for Danny. You will remember that Danny was discovered on a rainy day at the Industrial Road in Sungai Buloh. He was apparently hit by a vehicle and both his hind legs were broken. My wife, Grace, rescued him and we brought him to Dr. Pam to be treated. Praise God that his broken legs recovered but he has a slight limp on his left leg.

Danny looked like a mix between a Doberman and an ordinary dog. He has a beautiful coat of short black fur and he is quite a handsome fella. We have adsorbed all the medical costs and all Danny needs now, is a good home.

If you are able to share your home with a highly intelligent dog, please contact me through this blog.
