When Mommy Becomes Our Pillow

Nobody has better parents than the ones that we have. Goodness and I are saying this not to flatter them. Look at us! We are very ordinary dogs but our parents (they do not like to be known as dog-owners) treat us like treasures. They take care of us in every way possible. One of the most beautiful things is that they are very approachable. When they want their own time to do their works, they allow us to lie around. If we get a little rowdy, they ask us to wait outside the study or bedroom.

I wrote about having quality time with your pet in a previous post. Now, here is another picture where we used Mommy as our pillow. This is quality time that we all enjoy. We just love to be near her. She smells good and nice. Daddy has a different smell... shall we say that it's a unique sense.

Mommy is more flexible than Daddy and so she can sit for a long time on the floor. When we see that she gets down to the floor, we would approach and use implied consent to lie on her lap. I am always the first one to do so. Mommy always responds with joy. She just loves us. She will stroke and even pat us to sleep.

You see... when Mommy becomes our pillow, we know that we are loved!

Nothing is more important to a pet than the love of its owner.

In our case, we are not just items that belonged to someone else, we are parts of the family. We are loved and treasured. In short, we are blessed.
